Practically right after the wedding I was getting ready for my own big day. My graduation. Yes, you heard me right. I finished college. It was a rough road, but I did it.
And I swear, you guys are not going to believe what my parents got me as a graduation present. It’s crazy! I already know Noah is crazy jealous about it. Because. . .
They bought me a car! Did you hear what I just said? Let me repeat it for you in case you missed it the first time. They got Me, a CAR!!! And a freakin’ sexy car at that. I couldn’t believe it! I was over the moon about it. Completely stoked, excited, elated. I swear there aren’t enough words in the dictionary to express how I was feeling at that moment.
Because if all it took was for me to get a diploma to get something this nice, then hell, it made me want to get a diploma every year. We’d have to buy a new house just to build a garage for all the cars I’d put in it.
But speaking of houses, that brings me to Natasha. She’s still here. Now don’t worry, I’m not about to say a heap of insults about her. We’re actually doing pretty good. We’re existing, having friendly conversation here and there. Saying hi to each other and talking about t.v shows. You know the deal.
But when I say she’s still here, I mean, her and her grandmother are living with us at the moment. The plan was for Alex and Natasha to renovate Tasha’s home to make it more to their liking. But there was a fluke accident with the construction that practically wiped out the foundation of their home. And because of the land the house was on, they had to look for a new one altogether.
So mom and dad bought a new bed for Alex and Natasha and brought Alex’s old bed into the pool house, which didn’t make Noah too happy. But that doesn’t matter. Sharing a house with Newly weds have their–err, awkward moments, which I hope you should be able to understand where I’m going with that statement. And well, because of those–uhh, awkward moments, Natasha has been throwing up like CRAZY!
At first when it would happen, Alex would be biting his nails from all the worry. He’d go in the bathroom and hold her hair back and hold her and tell her she was going to get better and that it was just a 24 hour bug. Then a 42 hour bug. And then a—I think you get the point. But now, the only flinch he does is from the sound of her sickening retching. But he doesn’t move.
It’s pretty damn disgusting if you ask me. Especially when you have inhuman hearing. It practically sounds like she’s throwing up inside my ear, that’s how loud it is. But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the cause of her sickness.
Too bad men like my brother have yet to develop the ability to use their context clues at even that low of a level.
As the weeks dragged by, Natasha used her increased time in the house to write thank you notes. She wrote them to everyone that attended the party and to everyone that sent them wedding gifts and money. She was sweet that way. Always making sure to be kind to people, excluding me. *coughs* Whoa, where did that come from. I don’t know who just said that.
And as for me, my weeks were spent on my phone and in bars, lounges, and clubs around the city. Scouting for anything that looked like it would mesh well with my personality. Because you see, at first, I put up flyers for bandmates. And what I got were a bunch of groupie-wannabes that just wanted to be in a band with me because of my parents.
So here I am. I’m 22 years old. No job. Still lives with my parents. No baby on the way. No boyfriend to bring to events. If this was back in the 1800s, I would of been a disgrace to my parents and an old maid with 27 cats. Now I’m not depressed about the boyfriend part. I could care less about it actually. But it’s the job thing that’s bothering me. And I guess the still living at home thing too, but whatever.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Can I ask you something?”
“Of course.”
“Do you think I’m stupid to try and do something like make a band? I mean, do you seriously think it’ll ever happen?”
“What would make you start thinking that?”
“Because, this is taking forever. And I know I have my whole life to do something, but I wanted to be able to do a bunch of other things after this.”
“Don’t you think you have more than enough time to do all of that?”
” Yeah, but–”
“Then what are you whining about? You spend a couple months with no luck and your ready to give up.”
“Hey! I wasn’t going to give up. I’m not a quitter!”
“Then come on. Let’s go inside already. Maybe there’ll be some people in there.”
“You’re right. Let’s go.”
———————————————————————————~*~———————————————————————————-
“No luck?”
“Nothing. Unless you’re talking about finding a group of men that would love to ‘strum my bass’. ” *rolls eyes and sips drink*
*chuckles* “Please don’t tell me they said that.”
“Oh yes, they did. While I was getting these drinks actually.”
“Wow. Just when you think there couldn’t be any more bad pick up lines…”
“…They think of even cleverer ones.”
“And before I forget, there’s something I need to tell you.”
“Please don’t let it be something bad.”
“No, nothing bad, I promise.”
“Then what is it.”
“Oh, nothing. Just that I got drafted to the Bridgeport Bullets.” *smirks *
“What?Are you serious right now?”
“Yes. Isn’t that great?”
*smacks his arm* “Why didn’t you tell me before! Oh my god! I can’t believe I’m just finding out about this now!
“First off, Oww! And second, you had a lot of stuff going on. Everytime I was about to tell you, something else would happen.”
“You still should of told me.”
“I’m sorry.” *rubs arm* “You know, that’s gonna’ bruise in the morning.”
“Sometimes I forget how fragile you are.”
“So when do you start?”
“When the next season starts.”
“And when is that?”
“March.”
“So you mean to tell me you practically have a year of being on the team without doing anything?”
“Yeah, but I get to practice with them. It’s just that the season already started.”
“But now that I’ve got this thing going for me, I really need to move out. I’m getting tired of living at home with my mom. I just want to get my own place or something.”
“Yeah, I know what you mean.”
“But I don’t have the money to buy an apartent. At least not in the city. And none of my friends want to room with me and split the rent.” *glares down at drink*
*grins* “I have an idea.”
“What?”
“How about I be your roommate.”
“I don’t know…”
*shrugs* “It would be fairly easy. All we’d have to do is buy a two bedroom apartment. My parents will insist on buying it since they’ll be so excited to see one of their offfsprings moving out. You’ll insist on paying them back no matter how many times they deny you. You get your apartment, I get out of my parents house, we’ll both have our own privacy in our own rooms. Everyone wins.”
“Just think about it. You, away from the stress of Tracy and the mom. The relief of talking to me without worrying if Noah will walk in the room. Being able to invite friends over without your mom cockblocking.”
“That does sound kind of good…but I don’t know. As long as you don’t have slumber parties where you and your friends walk around in skimpy little nightgowns, then I’m in.”*smirks*
*laughs* “I will try to contain the urge since obviously all I ever do is prance around in lingerie.”
*sighs* The things I put myself through.

I like where this is headed! I am so glad Jake and Will are friends again and living together is going to work out fine, I am sure.
lol, I’m glad your excited because I have got a lot of things planned. (well ideas, but that’s the same thing right? lol)

If it’s Will’s life, then there’s always adventure, even if she doesn’t want there to be any. >:]
OMB I am like this weird creeper, I am replying to old posts/replies! I feel so bad, I should have done this but sometimes I forget! D:!
lol, it’s no problem. Sometimes things slip our minds.
I have to laugh at her saying she walks around in her lingerie and Jack dealing with still liking her. It kind of funny. Plus it will be nice for them to do their own things. Specially since Will is old enough to do her own things, without her parents having to tell her what to do. Like them trying to get her a guy. *roll eyes*
AW Jake… xD and Will. This is gonna be interesting… O_O
Yay for Tasha!
And…
“Always making sure to be kind to people, excluding me. *coughs* Whoa, where did that come from. I don’t know who just said that.” LOL!!!!
Very interesting…hehehe.
LOL, Will is definitely a piece of work sometimes.
